The cottage is located on the shores of Lough Erne approximately 17 miles from Enniskillen and 3 miles from Belleek. The area hosts a cosmopolitan tourist population every year and many return to the village year after year.

The inland waterways of Fermanagh and its neighbouring counties are famous for their historic sites, castle ruins and stately homes on islands and on the shore. Lough Erne also offers one of the best fishing areas in Ireland and attracts anglers from the world over. There are a variety of activities and heritage centres in the area offering horse riding, golf and a full range of water-sports.
