Kesh
Kesh is a small, well-developed fishing village in north west Fermanagh. Beautifully located on the Kesh River just a couple of miles from Lower Lough Erne, Kesh has a strongly aquatic atmosphere.
Many visitors to the County hire boats from here to explore the Lough and the River. The Marina is well equipped and very picturesque, incorporating some holiday homes and the beautiful Lough Erne Hotel where anyone can enjoy a meal or drink at the Riverside.
For those visitors without Sea Legs, a pint with no water in sight can be promised at the Mayfly Inn on the Main Street!
Just outside the village is Muckross Quay, a spectacular entry point to Lough Erne which is extremely popular with fishermen. Kesh has a history of producing some fine specimen catches, with Trout of over 19lb and Pike of almost 40lb being landed here in the past.
