A night out in Enniskillen: Bars, pubs, and clubs to visit

If you fancy a bite to eat in Enniskillen…

M Lounge

If you prefer your drinks best served with a few nibbles, then M Lounge on Enniskillen’s Darling Street might be the spot for you. They offer a delicious menu of light bites, that includes cheese boards, antipasto skewers, mini sliders, halloumi fries, and loads more. This trendy cocktail bar has a contemporary feel with plenty of spots to snap a pic for the gram too.

If you’re looking for a traditional Irish vibe in Enniskillen…

Charlie’s Bar

If the name ‘Charlie’s Bar’ is familiar to you, it might be because this Enniskillen pub recently went viral on social media. Their Christmas ad was watched millions of times, showcasing the pub as a friendly and welcoming environment, where no punter is without friends.

Charlie’s is the oldest family-run bar in Enniskillen. Cosy on weeknights, and buzzing on weeknights, with live music and plenty of jiving.

Blakes Of The Hollow

Blakes is a pretty unique venue. One of Ireland’s most captivating historical pubs, it first opened in 1887 and has retained many of its original features – with one notable addition: a Game Of Thrones door.

There’s lots to explore in this Enniskillen pub: from cosy snugs in ‘The Hollow’ – the oldest part of the pub, often home to traditional Irish music – to The Atrium, a venue for live music and performances.

If cocktails and craic are your thing…

Granny Annies

Quirky furniture and unusual décor give this big bar in the centre of Enniskillen town a fun, carefree feel – the exact vibe you want on a night out. It’s one of the biggest pubs in the town and is packed most weekends, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make new friends or bump into old ones. Expect live music on weekends.

Locals will tell you that Magees Bar, situated on Townhall Street, offers some of the best cocktails around. This recently refurbished gem is a lively spot with a great atmosphere and a modern, contemporary feel. Downstairs, there’s sports on the big screen, while upstairs you can enjoy tunes from the in-house DJ.

If you want to dance…

Industry Nightclub at Crowe’s Nest

With a pretty big dance floor and a reputation for playing the greatest hits – both old and new – Industry is one of Enniskillen’s most popular clubs. Sometimes it plays host to some big-name DJs: like Tom Multunes, Stack City, and DJ Xray.

If country music is more your thing, you can always head downstairs to the Crowe’s Nest bar where you’ll usually find a live band.

The Gasworks at Mulherns

One of the newest additions to Enniskillen’s nightlife scene, The Gasworks is a sleek and stylish live music venue in Mulherns Spirit Store on Belmore Street. You can expect a party atmosphere with old-school and contemporary hits.

Planning a party? It’s also available for private hire.

Club Eden at Pats Bar

A firm favourite with younger revellers, this bustling hotspot, situated on level two of popular pub Pat’s Bar, pumps out tunes every Saturday night. With a big dance floor, and an even bigger beer garden, it’s a good choice for people in the mood to party.

A good night out in Enniskillen: some tips

Line your stomach

Enniskillen has a thriving food scene and you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to getting some good grub before your night out. Try The Firehouse, 28 At The Hollow, Dollakis, or The Crowe’s Nest if you want somewhere that’s close to most of the town’s pubs.

Alert a member of staff if you need assistance

Enniskillen is a very safe and friendly town, but If, for whatever reason, you find yourself in a tricky situation while on a night out, be sure to alert a member of staff.

Some bars in Enniskillen, like Charlie’s Bar, participate in the Ask For Angela scheme. Simply, find a member of staff, and ask for Angela, and they will be able to assist you.

Pre-book your taxi

On busy nights, taxis are in high demand, so negate the wait, and prebook a taxi instead. And remember, most take cash, not card.

A night out is what you make it, but with plenty of bars, pubs, and clubs offering good drinks, a lively atmosphere, and live music, you can be almost certain to have a good night out in Enniskillen.
